Including verified recommendations will save you time and increase your odds of finding compatible matches.
Origin
Sometimes your friends know you better than you do
The main idea came from helping exhausted friends find jobs during the pandemic. We helped rewrite resumes, took better profile photos, wrote recommendations, sent over suggested jobs, and threw in jobs they might not have considered before.
Then, lightbulb! What if this concept of friends helping friends was put towards the dating space? Sometimes your friends know you better than you do, and can use that knowledge to suggest someone you weren't even thinking of.
The co-founders
Jes and Sam met on Tinder in 2018 and got married in 2022 at SF City Hall.
Jes grew up in a household that taught her about the red thread of fate. She always thought it made a beautiful story, but believes that it's also up to us to take control of our destiny by putting ourselves out there and being both ready and daring when opportunities present themselves.
Sam has a background in software engineering and Jes in events, sales, and human resources.
